Frequently Asked Questions

1) Why choose FXMarketAlerts?

For the quality of research, objectivity and flexibility of the system: you can subscribe to a very specific type of analysis and choose exactly when you wish to receive the alerts. Moreover, you can change the alerts at any time.

We do not trade so the research is totally objective.

2) What is your track record?

4CAST has been providing analysis to 90% of the top banks and key central banks for 15 years. As the company relies only on subscriptions and does not trade, if the information wasn’t valuable it wouldn’t still be in business.

4) Can I have a free trial?

Sorry but we do not offer free trials. The reports on the “samples” tab allow you to evaluate the quality of the content. The minimum subscription period is one week rather than the normal one month, within that week you can change your alerts if you wish (see question 5).

5) Can I get a discount for subscribing for a longer period?

Yes you can. We provide a 50% discount for any subscription period of more than 4 weeks.

6) Can I change the alerts I subscribe to?

Yes you can, we do not reimburse payments but we do allow you to change your subscription at any time.

Here are 3 examples :

I. you swap between 2 alerts of the same price, say one currency pair for another – i.e. EUR/USD Charts for USD/JPY Charts, since the price is the same this will not affect the length of your subscription.

II. you select alerts of a lower price, or decide to receive fewer alerts, for example you choose not to have both Flows and Charts for EUR/USD but just to receive the Charts. Your subscription period will be increased by calculating how much unused subscription remains on your current subscription and adding it to that period.

III. you switch to a more expensive alert or select more alerts. Depending on the amount of unused subscription remaining on your current subscription, you will have the choice of shortening the length of the subscription or elect to pay more.

In all events we will re-issue you with an invoice for your files.

7) What are “grouped emails”?

You may wish to group certain types of alerts together into one email rather than receive them individually. You can choose to have them at regular intervals, every few hours, once a day… For example receive all information on the US economy in one email every morning at 07:30.

8) What are the different email formats?

Plain Text.
The mail content will be sent in the simplest plain text format. Images will not be enclosed in the mail. This is useful if your email client has problems displaying HTML formatted content, OR you believe the content is being incorrectly identified as spam content.

HTML
The mail content will be sent using standard HTML. The mails will contain images, but they will be retrieved over the internet by your email client when the mail is viewed. Some email clients block this behaviour by default and you may need to add our domain you your 'whitelist' before mails can be viewed correctly.

HTML with Embedded Images
The mail content will be sent using HTML and MIME attached images. All image content will be attached to the email in a special format, so that the image content is delivered with the mail itself. This has the advantage that your email client will not require any further internet access to view the mails as intended. Mails will be slightly larger in size than standard HTML and some email clients may not support viewing the images in this manner.

9) Can I trade through your site?

FxMarketAlerts is not a trading site, we provide market information and analysis only.

10) Do you give buy/sell recommendations?

No we don’t. Everyone has different risk parameters and trading time horizons. We provide underlying analysis and opinions on the market, currency pairs and economic environment. This information is only one source amongst others to be considered when trading, please see our disclaimer at the bottom of the page.

11) Do you offer any training on the markets?

No sorry we don’t. The analysis is intended to be used by people who are knowledgeable and experienced in the financial sector.
